Since this capelet is generally worn folded over, you can't really see all the delicious colors of the Japanese Maple colorway, so here I'm showing you what it looks like unfolded. (The all-brown yarns on the top half are from 1 Scraplet Skein Signature Series in Espresso.) This also shows you that it's a simple ribbed tube, with just a change of needle size in the center to create subtle shaping and support the fit around the shoulders.
I'm thinking of doing yet another variation, with just 1 Scraplet Skein, so it would be like a big, cozy, foldover cowl; this would function more like a scarf, really, to keep your neck and chest warm, and it would easily tuck inside a coat or cardigan. Stay tuned!
